There are no words to describe how excited I was to meet Forrest for the first time. Being a Sonoma County Newborn Photographer and labor and delivery nurse gives me the opportunity to get all of the newborn snuggles to keep my heart full.
Before I get into sharing pictures, let me share a little back story first. Forrest’s mom, Stephanie, is a dear friend of mine. We have worked together in labor and delivery for several years and she has become such a special friend. We share so much of our lives, our stories, and her family feels like my family. I’ve known her mom even longer than I’ve known Stephanie, and I know how badly she wanted to be a grandma.
So one day last year, Stephanie called me into the break room to “run something by me”. Unsuspectingly, I went, and Stephanie says “I wanted to get your opinion on this shirt I bought”. Then she pulls out a baby onesie with her last name on it. I jumped so high everything flew out of my pockets and tears started streaming down my cheeks. That is the most excited I have ever been for a pregnancy, mine included (LOL).
I met Forrest for the first time at his home for his lifestyle newborn session. He looks so much like his dad it’s unbelievable! He was the perfect little baby for his pictures. So let’s take a look.
