Imagine my surprise when my old college roommate who I haven’t seen in over 20 years calls me up to say she just had a baby and wants me to take her newborn pictures! Color me shocked and excited! Angela moved to Kauai almost 20 years ago and ran her own massage business and was a fire dancer. I followed her journey on Instagram and I knew she was expecting. I had no idea she had moved back to the mainland and was staying just 30 minutes away from me so that she could give birth with her partner at her side, which isn’t an option in her city during these weird Covid times. It was amazing to catch up with her and meet her new daughter. Becoming a mother seems like such a natural transition for Angela. I’m so happy for her and Leon. They are wonderful, loving parents!
