Mother’s Day is approaching quickly, and if you ask me, Mother’s should be celebrated all year long, or at least for the entire month of May. I have the perfect Mother’s Day gift idea for you…pictures! Besides being a Sonoma County Photographer, I’m a mom to three kids. I can tell you I don’t need anymore scented candles, bath bombs, or fancy lotion. Even I struggle to get my kids to agree to taking pictures, but it’s what I want more than anything.
My goal when I take picture of your family is to capture your bond and love for each other. Being able to look back at your pictures that tell a story of your relationship with your kids is a gift. I would describe my style as storytelling. I won’t spend our time together stacking your family into a line and asking you to look at the camera. Expect to play with your kids; hug them, tickle them, spin around. Those are the actions that get the best smiles.
Davis Family Motherhood Session | Sonoma County Family Photographer
Now I get to share photos from The Davis Family’s Motherhood session. Look how beautiful they are! Their outfits were spot on, not matching, but cohesive. We laughed so much, mostly because Sarah (the mom) is hilarious and knows how to make her kids giggle. The two daughters share a special bond and it is so noticeable in the pictures. It is so sweet to see this little girl look up to her older sister. Sister bonds are so special. And Sebastian just adores his mom. Sometimes it can be hard to get boys to hug their moms or show any sort of emotion, but he doesn’t hesitate when I ask him to cuddle up with his momma. You could feel the love the whole time we were together. I love being a Sonoma County Family Photographer.
